Recospect in Action

The purpose of recospect is to empower you and your group to higher levels of success. The only one in your group who can implement recospect is you; and your success in applying recospect will be determined by how well you pay attention to details. Particularly important are the way you introduce people, the way you host leaders and how you present Deborah.nu. Here are several examples of recospect in action.

Example 1

You (Tom) are introducing your upline team elite member, John, to your newest rep, Mary. This example also applies if Mary is a prospect.

You might say, "Mary, let me tell you a little about John. He has over 15 years experience in our business and not only has he achieved the highest levels of success and income for himself, his leadership and influence have led to dozens of others becoming millionaires too."

If John is still building his success you might say, "Mary, this is my colleague, John. His help and advice have been invaluable to me in getting my new business off the ground, in fact, I could not have come as far as I have without him."

Then, as part of his conversation with Mary, John will say something like, "By the way, Mary, while Tom has been very generous in his appreciation for what help I have been able to give him, he has worked hard and done very well on his own; and there is no doubt that he can help set you on the right path to success." Or "You couldn't be in better hands -- Tom is and excellent coach/leader."

Example 2

Your upline Team Elite Member, Scott, is coming to town to do an opportunity meeting and a training meeting.

Does the person picking Scott up at the airport know what an honor it is to be allowed to do so, and what a few minutes conversation in the car with him could do? Who will meet Scott, escort him to the meeting venue, and guide him around before the meeting? Is there someone designated to make sure all materials or any special requirements Scott might need for the meeting are taken care of? Has the meeting been properly promoted? That is, has extra effort been made to make sure everyone in the area knows about the meeting and how special and important a chance to hear Scott speak is? Who will introduce Scott in front of the group? Is that introduction properly prepared? (See Example 3) Is there a gift of appreciation ready to present to Scott at the end of the meeting? Have appropriate hotel or dinner reservations been made?

Example 3

When introducing a speaker or introducing yourself as speaker keep it short and to the point. There are only four subjects that may be touched upon.

1. Acknowledge spouse and family. Example: "wife/husband (say their name) could not be here with us but he/she wants you to know he/she would love to be here with us this weekend." OR "We are happy to be here, my wife/husband is the best partner anyone could have and we love working together."

2. Acknowledge the company for great products and services.

3. Thank Deborah.nu and your upline, stating that you could never have made it without their help and the training systems.

4. Say no more that three or four short sentences about the speaker you are introducing then turn the floor over to the presentation.

Example 4

Ernest Shackleton ran the following advertisement in the newspaper to recruit team members for his exploration voyage to the South Pole:

"Men Wanted for Hazardous Journey. Small wages, bitter cold, long months of complete darkness, constant danger, safe return doubtful. Honor and recognition in case of success."

The response to the advertisement was so overwhelming Shackelton couldn't deal with all of the applicants. The point is never, never, never miss an opportunity to recognize achievement or to offer praise or gratitude. People often respond to such recognition more powerfully that they do to financial gain.

Honor, recognition and money in case of success.
