"The 500 Point Business Model"

 

In our last e-mail training we emphasized how important it is that you and everyone in your group focus on becoming executives and we introduced the idea of everyone committing to producing at least 500 points in volume every month. In this session we will expand upon those two concepts to ensure that you maximize the profit potential from your business building efforts.

Where does your check come from? The nature of this business leads many people to think that their checks comes from signing people up. This is not true. The compensation plan makes this very clear. The only reason we get paid is because we have an end user -- someone who buys and/or uses a product or service. This usage is volume and we are paid on volumes. Consider this example

Which would you rather have?

A group of 5 executives each generating 10,000 points group volume (GV) each month

-- Or --

A group of 10,000 people signed up but doing no volume

The answer is obvious. Despite how impressive having ten thousand people sounds, you do not want this group because without volume, neither you nor they are making any money. In the 5 executive group however, everyone is making money. Moreover, history has shown us that the most successful executives in our business typically maintain monthly GV around 10,000 points. The minimum maintenance requirements for your executiveship are much lower; but if you aim just to maintain minimums, that is what your monthly income will be -- minimum.

The 500- Point Business Model encourages every rep to generate at least 500 points of volume each month. This has been proven by long experience to be the best method of fostering long-term success for three main reasons:

- The first is that 500 points per month fulfills the maximum PV requirements for maximum bonus payments.

- The second is that the personal consumption of products and services supported by the 500 Point Model ensures that you have adequate first-hand knowledge of the quality and benefits of our products. Your enthusiasm derived from personal knowledge of the products is the single best tool you can have to help you share them with others.

- The third reason is that 500 points per month is low enough that anyone can achieve it through a combination of personal consumption and a small group of customers. Although the number varies, successful executives typically maintain between 10 and 20 regular customers. This is an important point because, while you must have customers, you do not want finding and servicing customers to become so time consuming that it interferes with your recruiting efforts.

You have heard it before, "success breeds success." Unfortunately, in our business the opposite is also true: failure tends to breed failure. What this means is that YOUR PEOPLE WILL DO WHAT YOU DO. So, lead by example!

- Be your own best customer. - Ask yourself if you would like having you for a sponsor. - Set your goals high and follow the 500 Point Business Model.

When you take these actions members of your group will do the same and the whole team will be on the way to seeing their goals and dreams come true!
